A True Feeling for What Vermont Is
At Boyden Farm, A true Feeling for Historic Vermont is the Perfect Showcase for a Modern Wedding
Most people hold a bit of curiosity for the local farm or farmer. Farmers are a curious breed – always planning and organizing; whether it’s their livestock, their equipment or their crop rotations. They have seasonal tasks and a time schedule for most everything from milking cows to fixing fences, plowing the fields to planting the crops.

Boyden Farm, located in Cambridge at the intersections of Route 104 and 15 has created a bit of curiosity all winter on their farm. As you drive by on these routes you may notice the sliding doors of what used to be the hay loft of the main barn wide open allowing entrance for carpenters, plumbers and electricians. Renovations started in October 2007 for what these farmers are calling The Barn at Boyden Farm. Where over 14,000 hay bales were once stacked there is now a caterers pantry, restrooms, dressing rooms, a dance floor, tables and chairs; all ready and waiting for the next spectacular wedding or event.
The Barn at Boyden Farm opened as of May 17, 2008. A grand celebration brought over 250 curious community members and friends to share in the inauguration of this wonderful space. Those curious neighbors were invited in through those hay loft doors and into the next planned phase for this farm.

Imagine standing hand in hand with the most important person in your life as you are surrounded by the beauty of the Lamoille River Valley. Since the early 1900’s, this valley has been cared for by these particular farmers. Your vows are heard by your family and friends beneath the post and beam pavilion situated adjacent to the main Barn. Excitement grows as you are pronounced husband and wife. You begin the procession into the newly renovated barn to celebrate your special union with those closest to you both. If the walls of this 1800’s hayloft could talk, they too would be curious about the celebrations now being brought to Boyden Farm.
Celebrate simply with us at Boyden Farm. Bring your family and friends to the beauty of the Lamoille Valley to celebrate life as it was and should be.
Simply a beautiful Vermont farm at it’s best.
